I hope everyone's New Year's was as enjoyable as mine was.
I decided against a resolution this year, as it seems absolutely impossible for me to keep any of them. I suppose I could make it something simple like 'Survive the year', but that seems too dull. Why do things halfway?

As I have received several queries about the matter, yes, carriages will continue to be available despite recent events. However, they will be more difficult to obtain as new security measures have forced us to lower our numbers. I strongly suggest you reserve in advance.
On another note, I would like to ask if anyone has heard anything regarding the return of the displaced to their worlds. No one has given an update in months aside from that ridiculous displaced dish which I refuse to acknowledge.

I'm glad I decided to go to the event at the Malfoy estate. I met up with a few people whom I hadn't had the chance to yet in this... time? Place? World? Either way, it was refreshing seeing them again, though some are quite different than I remember. Some, of course, never seem to change.

Are rural events the same as urban ones? Just to clarify.

As someone did not see fit to remove all the dangerous cargo from his carriage, upon its return to the department, there was a small explosion mishap. I'm sorry to say that carriages will not be available for charter tomorrow until the situation is dealt with and all other carriages have been repaired and inspected. Those with reservations will need to find other means of transport or find lodgings until the following day.
The Department of Transportation apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
