Her father is a shrewd man who holds a high-paying position in the Ministry, and her mother is the perfect image of a ‘society wife’. Daphne was brought up with all the etiquette and good breeding and soon entered society as a prim and proper young lady. She grew up being told that pure bloodlines were better, and her own beliefs soon began to mirror her parents’. Daphne learned at an early age that it would not do to hang out one’s dirty laundry and has therefore become a rather secretive, untrusting person.
